It’s no secret that Zion Williamson has been one of the most hyped and disappointing players that we have seen in a very long time, between averaging 27 points per game to being sidelined for very long stints it was very apparent that Zion was facing some issues with his weight, but this looks like it will no longer be a problem.

Zion Williamson has been one of the most interesting NBA players in recent years. When Zion has been on the court he's one of the best players in the NBA, but he has been sidelined a lot due to injuries, some of which were caused by his weight. Zion's Rookie Max Extension with the New Orleans Pelicans features a clause stating that he has to be under 295 body fat and weight combined.

Since entering the NBA in 2019 star Zion Williamson has been one of the most interesting players in the entire league. From looking dominant on the court for the Pelicans to suffering injuries that correlate with his weight gain, Zion has been struggling to stay on the court, but things look different now. Zion is in shape and just signed the rookie max extension, so he's ready to lead the Pelicans to a playoff run with Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum.

This is my NBA mock draft of the New Orleans Pelicans for the 2022 NBA Draft.

The New York Knicks and Zion Williamson have been linked together for a long time, especially after NYK traded for Cam Reddish last season. However, when referring to a rookie extension with the Pelicans, Zion said “Of Course, I couldn’t sign it fast enough”. Today, I discuss what this means for the Knicks and their Zion dream.

It's clear that the Pelicans have completely messed up the Zion Willaimson situation which is why many including myself believe that he will leave the Pelicans... it's just a matter of when.
