Native American Heroes: The Role They Played in Protecting Alaska During WWII
Alaska has a unique history that is often overshadowed by the events that transpired on the East Coast and in the Midwest. Assassin's Creed Fan Puts The Franchise in World War II
It is amazing what fans of major video game franchises can do with modern technology and their love for their favorite video game IPs. For example, as the website GameRant was able to talk about, a fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise was able to use the game engine Unreal Engine 5 to share a concept for what the franchise might look like if it creates a game that occurs during the Second World War. There are a variety of reasons that people enjoy playing Assassin's Creed games, but one of the major reasons that people like this series of games so much is the 'historical tourism' that happens in every one of the games. Assassin's Creed is one of the games that allow players to explore a bunch of different historical settings to play around in with near reckless abandon.
Histrionic Personality Disorder and How It May Have Affected Adolf Hitler
For years, have been questioning if there was some kind of psychological disorder that might have made Adolf Hitler into a man who would be ok with committing horrible atrocities. Some studies believe Hitler may have had a condition called Histrionic Personality Disorder: a psychiatric disorder distinguished by a pattern of exaggerated emotionality and attention-seeking behaviors. What makes this personality disorder interesting is that Hitler was diagnosed with this disorder by a psychiatrist named Karl Wilmanns back in 1933 in a lecture where he said "Hitler has had a hysterical reaction after being buried alive in the field" and talked about how what happened during World War I or before his time in the field may have made him have hysteria (what Histrionic Personality Disorder was called back then).

As the anniversaries of VE Day (Victory in Europe) and D-Day, the Allied invasion of Europe, approach on May 8 and June 6 respectively, we made a return visit to the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University. The small museum located in an abandoned outlet mall offers haunting reminders and lessons from the dark times in the 1930s and 1940s. The museum also tells the story of Georgia and Georgians at war. The museum is open Monday to Friday, and admission is free. You can also visit the museum's website to learn more about the traveling exhibits offered for educators, and special programing. The museum is located at 3333 Busbee Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
