In a recent video shared on social media, a rider found himself in a dangerous encounter with a brown bear after crashing his dirt bike near the bear's den. The rider's quick thinking and the loud noise of his dirt bike's engine ultimately saved his life. The video, which was posted on the BusyWild Facebook page, shows the bear emerging from the den and charging towards the rider. The rider's friend, who was filming the scene using a helmet-mounted GoPro, quickly twisted the throttle and revved the engine, which spooked the bear and caused it to retreat. The rider with the camera revved the engine a few more times for good measure, and the bear ran away.

The clouded leopard that went missing from her enclosure at the Dallas Zoo has been located and secured, according to zoo authorities.
