# Where to eat
Gainesville Restaurant is a Hidden Gem in Plain Sight
In this episode, Tommy and I visit El Carreton, a Mexican Street Food restaurant that lives on the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Pearl Nix Parkway in Gainesville, GA. This place has apparently been a Gainesville institution since 1994, but recently relocated to the old Sonic/Chick-fil-A building. It's seriously good eats even if it appears to be empty, which we attribute to the world's smallest "open" sign.
Local Eats Island Touch Review
If you live in the Orlando area or have visited recently it is hard to miss all of the roadwork and construction taking place. While it can make travel difficult at times it also brings new businesses and opportunities to the area. While visiting Rusteak in Ocoee we noticed an advertisement for a brand new coffee shop in the same brand new plaza. Because it was fairly late on a Sunday night we decided to put it on the list to visit the very next morning. We pulled into the plaza looking for unit 113 and initially had some difficulty finding the place. While Island Touch Cafe can be seen from the road driving by, but does not face the main square where the majority of the parking spots are once in the lot. If you see Rusteak when you pull in it is located directly to the left as the main entrance faces a small body of water and the road. The address is 1711 Amazing Way, Ocoee FL. Upon entering and standing inside you can feel the warmth of design and friendly service which usually indicates a family ran business and in this case it is indeed a reflection of the owners.
