Hundreds Of Dolphins | Channel Islands Whale Watching Tour
In this episode we will be bringing you along on a recent whale watching tour we took with Island Packers. As you may have guessed from our thumbnail, we didn’t get to see any whales, which we were super sad about, but we still got to enjoy some amazing views and SO MANY DOLPHINS! Hope you enjoy coming along!
WE SAW KILLER WHALES! Washington Whale Watching With ISLAND ADVENTURES In The San Juan Islands
From Anacortes Island within the San Juan Islands, we enjoyed a Whale Watching Tour with Island Adventures on August 25th, 2021. Get ready for great views, a well-rounded tour, and hopefully plenty of wildlife. Keep in mind that especially on the boat, it gets pretty cold and you will want multiple layers and possibly gloves. Thanks for watching!
The Point Reyes Lighthouse
What a stunning place to see. It was a real nice day in Point Reyes, so you could see for miles. The Point Reyes Headlands jut 10 miles (16 km) out to sea and pose a threat to ships traveling between San Francisco Bay and locations to the north. The historic Point Reyes Lighthouse was built in 1870 to warn mariners of this navigational hazard and served for 105 years. The Point Reyes Lighthouse was retired from service in 1975 when the U.S. Coast Guard installed an automated light adjacent and below the historic tower. The Coast Guard then transferred ownership of the lighthouse to the National Park Service, which has taken on the job of preserving this fine specimen of our maritime heritage.
Running Into Winter Whales Near San Diego Point Loma Kelp While on My Solo Skiff Motorized Kayak
As I made my way from San Diego Bay up to Mission Bay on my Solo Skiff motorized kayak I ended up running into some winter whales near the Point Loma Kelp. Whales are such a magical and amazing creature and I am truly blessed to be able to catch a glimpse of them up close. Thank you for watching. Life is awesome.
Whale Watching San Diego From A Small Boat | Winter Solo Skiff Adventures
I launched my Solo Skiff from Shelter Island in San Diego Bay on Friday January14th and made my way north outside Point Loma Kelp and ran into some whales that are making their yearly migration from Alaska down to Baja. The Pacific Ocean and waters of San Diego are truly special and the opportunity to do some whale watching from a small boat during some Winter Solo Skiff Adventures is something I am grateful for. Thank you for watching!
