Hawaii's Local Eats- Have You Tried Garlic Shrimp In A Pineapple?
When in Hawai'i, splurge on all of the good eats, especially this combo. Hawai'i is known for it's amazing garlic shrimp with gobs of garlic and big plump shrimp. But Five Star Shrimp kicked it up a notch and made this dish extra special. They combined the famous garlic shrimp with some heat and then some sweet and put this combo in a cored-out pineapple. The combo of heat, sweet, and savory is one you must try! And Honolulu Burger Co opened up another location here in the food court. Their burgers are imaginative and flavorful. The taro burger is one that you shouldn't skip when checking them out! And don't forget to add those sweet potato fries! https://waikikifoodhall.com/ Music www.pixabay.com Happy Dance Alex MakeMusic
Saying Goodbye to A Hawai'i Gem- The Last Day of Ohana Hale Marketplace
Off of Ward Avenue sat a gem that housed so many local vendors with products ranging from food and beverage to hand-crafted jewelry. What was once a Sports Authority developed into Ohana Hale Marketplace. It was a perfect spot to sample food from Taiwanese noodles to Korean pastries and locally sourced fruits, juices, and poke, all while enjoying live music. With the closing of Ohana Hale Marketplace, many businesses have been displaced, while others chose to shut down completely. Today, we take you on a walk through their last day and we are happy to report that lots of our favorite spots have been able to relocate. https://www.instagram.com/honolulubistro/ https://www.instagram.com/bo.s.kitchen/ Music www.pixabay.com Tropical House John Sib Modern Summer Alex MakeMusic

Cloud 9 Cafe Re-Opening: Check Out The New Menu Featuring Castella
Cloud 9 Cafe is one of our favorite spots to indulge in souffle pancakes here on the island of O'ahu. During the pandemic, they shut down but now they have recently reopened in a new part of town, closer to Ala Moana that also has parking available! Their menu has changed a bit, been enhanced by new menu items, but don't worry, they still kept those famous souffle pancakes! They've added house-made Castella cakes to the menu. The jiggly, airy, melt-in-your-mouth cakes are a must-try item here! They come in a variety of flavors and are even housing their fresh-made sandwiches. Check them out at their new location: 1221 Kapiolani Blvd, Suite 111, Honolulu, Hawaii 96814 Hours: Mon-Sat 10AM-7PM Sunday 10AMam-5PM https://cloud9cafehi.com/ Music: www.pixabay.com Advertising Corporate (Long) ZakharValaha

Monthly Specials At O'Kim's Korean Kitchen
O'Kim's Korean Kitchen is known for having some of the finest Korean Fusion on the island of O'ahu, however, their monthly specials take creativity to the next level. Chef Hyun Kim is imaginative and creative in a way that uses techniques and flavors from her Korean background and transcends these dishes into stand-out cuisine. This month she paid homage to the house and home and yet reminded us of the days of royalty. Her traditional Ddukboki was a nod to the original Gungjung style as it was prepared for the Royal Court during the Joseon Dynasty. After exposing our taste buds to a flair of royalty, she brought us into every Korean mom's kitchen with her Jun Trio. While her cuts of fish and meat are superb, her flavors are reminiscent of solid home-style cooking. Each month her specials vary and while she has an excellent traditional menu, I find myself in need of checking out all of her new specials. https://www.okimshawaii.com/ Music:www.pixabay.com BLACK BOX - South Korea BLACK
