WWE: Saturday Night Main Event comes to the Berglund Center after being sold to Saudi Arabia
WWE returns as the company is sold and the co-CEO resigns. If you are a WWE fan you will be pleased to know that “Saturday Night’s Main Event” will be held on Saturday night January 14 at the Berglund Center Coliseum 710 Williamson Rd., Roanoke. The event line-up is scheduled to include Seth Freakin Rollins, The OC, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, Matt Riddle, Bianca Belair, and many more WWE superstars but the roster is subject to change.
Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund Emerges as Possible Bidder for WWE Following Vince McMahon's Return
It has been suggested that Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund could be a potential buyer for the WWE, following the return of Vince McMahon to the company. According to Front Office Sports, the Fund is "emerging as a possible bidder" should the WWE decide to sell. It is not an implausible possibility, as WWE events in Saudi Arabia since 2018 have generated $400 million for the company, more than the ticket revenue of all 38 WrestleManias combined. The WWE is already in the midst of a 10-year deal with Saudi Arabia.

Former WWE superstar Sasha Banks makes her long awaited return to the ring with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). On January 4th, Banks was reintroduced as Mercedes Moné in front of a packed crowd at NJPW's sold out WrestleKingdom 17 at the Tokyo Dome.
