At the Portland International Rose Test Garden, it is possible to get a stunning view of Mt. Hood - unfortunately I did not, but on a clear day it is there to see! You can also walk around and see countless beautiful roses on display, so it's worth a shot either way!

We hiked out to Shell Pond in Lovell, Maine. It is a bird sanctuary, and it's beautiful. The solitude, quiet and peaceful area was somewhere I wanted to stay forever. The weather was perfect; the skies were so blue. A painted turtle was digging a hole on shore, probably to lay eggs. There were many other animals to see too. A heron flew lazily around in the distance, ducks leisurely floated by, and many tadpoles and frogs glided through the water. This short but scenic hike was easy and worth the time.

Here we hike inside "Torrey Pines Natural Reserve" located on the beautiful San Diego coastline. This trail left off at "Razor Point", which is a great spot in the park and lead to the "Yucca Point Overlook", which is the best lookout in the entire park (in my opinion).

One of my favorite hikes in Southern California - this is at the beautiful "Torrey Pines Natural Reserve" located near San Diego. There are many stunning hiking trails, but my favorite passes through "Razor Point", which is a notable lookout point showcasing the park and the surrounding area.

In "Torrey Pines Natural Reserve" in San Diego/La Jolla, you can find some of the prettiest views while doing these stunning coastal hikes. Once you first arrive in the park, I recommend you head to "Razor Point" for some panoramic views.

At "Starved Rock State Park's" outdoor patio, you can enjoy vast sweeping views of the green surrounding you. This is best accompanied with some beers, drinks, or food served up at the restaurant conveniently located near the hiking trails! After a long day of hiking at "Starved Rock State Park", it's nice to relax a little bit - and what better way to do this than enjoying some beers on the patio with great views? There is a restaurant with an outdoor patio conveniently located right at the beginning of the hiking trails at the park! There is some interesting history to be learned about this rock in regards to the Native Americans. More than that, the views from this area of the park are really amazing! The prettiest beach we got to visit while in Oahu was definitely Lanikai Beach. It is a golden sand, turquoise water beach that makes you feel world’s away! We enjoyed taking a dip in the water which was a perfect temperature! Lanikai Beach is located in a residential area which means parking can be difficult but it’s worth the try! After spending a few hours in the water we headed to a local restaurant to have what would turn out to be our best meal this whole trip! Stick around to the end of the video to see what that was!
