Protest at the Utah State Capitol(Image is author's) Crowds of people with their signs had gathered on Friday evening, June 24, 2022, after the Supreme Court decision about abortion that morning. There may have been another protest the next day, and on Sunday evening there was once again a large group assembled at the Utah State Capitol.

Dead Horse State Park is massive! It is 5,362 acres! We didn't know much about this park but we are glad we went in to explore. This park is where Thelma and Louise had their famous driving off a cliff scene. The views are absolutely beautiful everywhere you look! It is a short drive from the town of Moab and you shouldn't skip coming into the park. Take water and snacks because you will be here a while just exploring.
