History Comes to Life at Henry B. Plant Museum
When you visit the Henry B. Plant Museum in Tampa, you are certainly taking a step back in time. The museum itself is inside the south wing of what was once the Tampa Bay Hotel. And if you visit the museum on a Sunday afternoon, you will feel even more immersed. Upstairs/Downstairs at the Henry B. Plant Museum are performances that bring turn-of–the-century Tampa Bay Hotel staff members and guests to life and let visitors experience what life was really like in the grand hotel.
UT Professor Gets Grant to Study Seagrass Changes in Tampa Bay
An associate professor of biology at The University of Tampa was awarded $87,775 to study the phenomenon of seagrass in Tampa Bay being replaced by macroalgae called Caulerpa. The Tampa Bay Environmental Restoration Fund awarded the grant to Michael Middlebrooks to study seagrass changes in Tampa Bay.
Brandon Ballet Brings the Nutcracker to Henry B. Plant Museum

Dancers from the Professional company and the Student Company will present performance installations from their upcoming production of The Nutcracker. The performance is free with museum admission.
