It's always heartwarming to hear about successful breeding efforts, especially when it comes to endangered species. Houston Zoo's oldest resident, a 90-year-old tortoise from Madagascar, has reportedly become a father for the first time, thanks to a sharp-eyed zookeeper.

On Tuesday, March 7 at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area on Flagler Beach, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) released 10 critically endangered Kemp's Ridley sea turtles back into Atlantic waters after receiving clean bills of health from the aquarium's veterinary team.

According to Yahoo News, it was a stunning tourism photograph from Tourism Australia and it was posted on their Instagram account. The photograph depicted a woman floating and swimming in the sea on Ningaloo Reef.

Scientists say they have discovered rocks made of plastic on a remote turtle refuge 1,100km from the Brazilian mainland. Yes, “rocks” — as in, solidified pieces of the earth’s most foundational substance. The geologist who made the discovery called it “terrifying.”

We had so much fun swimming and snorkeling at Gran Cenote in Mexico. This large swimming hole had plenty of caves, bats, turtles, fish, and more to discover while exploring the massive cenote. What an adventure!

At Gran Cenote in Tulum, Mexico, there are countless Freshwater Turtles that are swimming or hanging around. If you bring snorkeling equipment, you can easily spot them swimming around you as you explore the beautiful underwater world.
