Day of the Dead in Mexico City
Today's travel vlog is in Mexico City, and we are there to celebrate Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead)! If you have seen the movie Coco as we have, you probably can understand how important this holiday is in the Hispanic culture. However, we had to see the Día de Muertos celebration for ourselves, and it did not disappoint! We are just a travel vlog couple from Montana, but indulging in the Mexico City culture will be a memory we will never forget. So thank you, Mexico City, we will be back!

6 Reasons to Cross-Train in RV Responsibilites
Packing up for a travel dayCourtney Kane/ Life with Beth and Court. There’s a lot to do on travel days when you live in an RV. Typically, if you’re traveling with another human, you both have certain jobs you gravitate towards (or sometimes you just draw the short straw, like emptying the black tank.)
The mistake we made while camping in our RV for the first time
Staying in an RV for the first time can be really exciting, but also really stressful. You've watched the YouTube vids, you've talked to friends, you've prepped the best way you know how, but the reality is - preparing and actually staying in an RV for the first time are two totally different beasts. In this video, you'll see us reserve our first campsite, set up the RV for the first time, and stay our first two nights! There are a few things we definitely learned the hard way, but it was our first time and we knew there'd be a learning curve.
Deciding to sell everything and live in an RV
Have you ever considered selling your stuff and living in an RV? We hadn't! But on April 19, 2020, we both had this conviction in our hearts that it was time to live a more free life. We wanted to be able to see our family and friends around the country and not have to rush back for work, a house, or any other obligations. So we decided to look up the idea of living life on the road - what would it be like if we could simply take our home WITH us wherever we went and not have our jobs or routines interrupted? What would it be like to visit without it being a "vacation", but just have it be normal life? The idea sounded intoxicating to us so despite having zero experience - we decided to charge full speed ahead and learn what it would take to trade in our stationary life for RV living. Follow along as we start our journey in Traverse City, Michigan!
