VERDICT: Ex-Cop Who Placed Handcuffed Woman in Patrol Car That Was Hit By Train Gets Probation
A Colorado former police officer on trial for placing a handcuffed woman in a patrol car parked on train tracks that was then struck by a freight train has been spared prison time after offering a tearful mea culpa. The former Fort Lupton police officer was found guilty of two misdemeanors, ABCNews.go.com. , New York Post reports.
