Opinion: Do We Fall in Love With The Wrong Person or a Painful Lesson We Ignored?
I share my opinions, experiences, and knowledge on my path through narcissistic abuse. While many from the outside looking in would beg to differ, I still stand by it. At times I question if it was love and not just infatuation. No way two people “love” and treat each other like my ex and I did.

Local Residents Hope This Is the Final Chapter for Toxic South Dallas Factory
The demolition of a toxic waste zone in South Dallas is finally underway, but questions surrounding the toll it has had on nearby residents will linger long after. Mere miles from downtown Dallas, Lane Plating operated an electroplating facility that shuttered its doors for good in 2015 amid investigations and numerous violations. Toxic chemicals were used on factory grounds for three-quarters of a century, which Lane Plating was intentionally misleading about while the factory was active.

There is still a lot of life at the Salton Sea
The Salton Sea experienced high levels of pesticide and fertilizer runoff and because the lake has no outlet, the poisoned water had nowhere to go. This caused a process called eutrophication, which results in increased algae and bacteria. These conditions caused the lake to become saltier. This all caused massive fish die-offs in the sea and by 1990s, the shores of lake were littered with dead fish. The fish die off was part of the chain of events that cased a massive number of bird deaths of varied species. Though there is not the life that there once was at the Salton Sea there are still a variety of wildlife that has been able to withstand this heartbreaking ecological disaster.

In a recent study published in Environmental Science & Technology, scientists warn about the excessive usage of synthetic chemicals in our daily life, which has surpassed all the safety limits for our planet and pushes our planet into the danger zone. A little less than half a million artificial chemicals are available in the market, including industrial and laboratory chemicals. This number has only seen a rise in the past century, and if not stopped, it will continue to rise in the coming years.
