Rustic and Country Decor Flip | Home Decor Thrift Flip
Another consignment find and flip. This cute decor window just needs a little distressing and some decor to dress it up. I will style it in primitive and country styles for you to see the differences.
Goodwill Thrift To Rustic Home Decor | How To Style A Goodwill Thrift
This little house is so cute, and with a plant or some attractive decor, it will be much better dressed up in some way. I wanted to darken the color of the stain and wipe it back to give it an aged look. I found a ceramic bird from Dollar Tree in my stash, painted it a warm yellow, and added some antique wax to age it. Once it was dry, I started to style it to sit on a shelf or centerstage on a table. Here I will show you a couple of different ideas on what to do.
Goodwill Thrift Flip From An Old Box And Spindle | Primitive Home Decor
I always keep my spindles anytime I find them for projects just like this one. I found this box at Goodwill and I thought adding a spindle to it for a handle would be perfect.
Thrift Shop Finds | Goodwill Haul | Thrift Flip Projects | Second Hand Decor
I love thrifting and finding projects to makeover for myself or selling. It's fun and brings out my creativity when I find just the right product to work on. Sometimes items sit for a while and don't get redone until I can come up with something to do with them, but when it does, look out.
Patriotic Star Door Hanger | Americana Home Decor | Thrift Flip
This door hanger was an easy flip. No painting is necessary, just a small amount of greenery and flowers from Dollar Tree. I like the shape of the star and made a template of it before I sent it to its new home. Sometimes it's important to be simple in your decor. It doesn't always need painting or change to make it something you would want in your home.
Repurposed Wooden Decor | Thrift To Treasure | Upcycled Home Decor
I'm not sure if this is a magazine rack or a toilet paper holder, but I really love the bones of it and I know that it can be made up to look nice in any home. I used cream paint on the original piece and a gray grain sack stencil on all four sides to add a pop of color. I have two sets of bird stamps, one from Amazon and one from Dollar Tree that I used on top of the stencil. I distressed the edges and used antique wax to seal and make look old.
Decoupage Chicken Chalkboard | Thrift Flip | Thrift To Treasure | Upcycled Home Decor
The chalkboard I found at Goodwill was nothing to write home about. I'm sure it was great in its time, but not anymore. So I decided to try my Zazzle decoupage paper again and see if I could bring this back to something someone would love in their home. After a small amount of black paint around the frame and some cream paint under where the paper would go. I think it's so cute for any home.
DIY Rustic Basket Decor | Upcycled Home Decor | Repurposed Thrift Flip
This ugly basket was a great find at Goodwill. I almost passed it up but decided to rescue it and see if I could upcycle it into something rustic and beautiful. I made the cutest label for the front using the decoupage paper and a piece of drop cloth. After I stained the basket, I lined the inside with some burlap, the label on the front looks so good. Of course, I had to distress the front to look old—what a great repurposing of an ugly thrift to a super flip. Enjoy!
DIY Home Sign | Primitive Decor | Budget Friendly
I am taking a home sign from Micheal's and a wooden frame and marring the two together. I'm adding an aluminum backing from Dollar Tree and some pip berries to make some wall decor for any home. Marring items are taking two or more pieces that didn't initially go together and putting them together in some way, adding paint, and making them look like they were always together. I do this with furniture also. The creations can be so fantastic. I hope you enjoy it!
Primitive Decor Recipe Box | Home Decor DIY
I love picking up small wood items at thrift stores and yard sales. This unfinished recipe box had no knob or feet, and just adding both, and some mixed paint brought it to life and created a super cute kitchen recipe box. The chicken knob was bought at a tractor supply kids toy and painted to create the distressed rustic look. The little clip chalkboard is from Dollar Tree and is an excellent use for a paper recipe clipped to the front while you are baking.
Sunflower Decoupage Wall Decor | Home Decor Thrift Flip | Goodwill Find
I bought some sunflower decoupage paper from Zazzle.com, and I love it. I found this wired wall decor and thought the sunflowers would look great. I took a few simple items, like greenery, a scrap piece of burlap, and some jute twine, and made this beautiful home decor. I hope to inspire many people to reuse what they have and reenvision what it could be. Enjoy!
Repurposed Goodwill Frame To Beautiful Home Decor
I found this wood and metal frame at the Goodwill for $3 and thought it would be good to repurpose into a more primitive look. So I used spray paint, wallpaper border, some homespun material, and a splash of mod podge to transform this into a beautiful wall hanging for home decor. I shop thrift stores and pick up lots of different items to renew often. Enjoy!
Upcycled Sign To Tea Towel Holder | Old Made New | Hobby Lobby Items
I shopped Salvation Army, found this outdated goose sign, and upcycled it to a cool rustic tea towel holder. The holder and towel were purchased from Hobby Lobby. Next, I made a unique stain mixture from Waverly antique wax, water, and a touch of black paint to create a dark stain with black highlights. I like using this, and you will see more as I go along. Enjoy!
