A Trip to Kanapaha Botanical Gardens: Worth the Drive, the Sweat, and the Grief
My Instagram feed is always full of tantalizing images like double cheeseburgers with thick bacon slices and plump portabella mushrooms, cake cones piled high with ice cream under an avalanche of sprinkles, beaches with thick, pillowy sand and the bluest of waves, and commanding mountains that reach into the heavens to give some examples. In the midst of all this grandeur and gluttony, a post managed to catch my eye and interrupted my strolling- a post with the largest and greenest water lilies I had ever seen with huge koi swimming under and around them. The post belonged to Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville Florida- a garden that I had heard of before and actually wasn’t too far from my home in Jacksonville, Florida.

Come Have Dinner With Us At Splitsville in Disney Springs!!
Come with us for dinner at Splitsville in Disney Springs. I have been dreaming about the nachos here since I had them the first time we went here. We did not bring the camera with us the first time because we had our grandkids with us. They also have some of the best sushi on Disney property in my opinion. We just had a night of relaxation, margaritas, people watching, and good food. We hope you enjoy and we will see ya in the next one! #lovewhereyoulive #floridaliving #newsbreak #newsbreakcreator #disney #disneysprings
Off the Beaten Path in Florida: These Hidden Gems Are Must Sees!
Here are a few of our favorite places while driving down to Islamorada in the Florida Keys! If you are driving from Naples Florida to the Florida Keys, make sure to take Highway 41 down Tamiami Trail and make a pitstop at the Big Cypress Oasis Visitors Center to see the local residents & the king of the swamps... a TON of Alligators! Fast forward to the end of our drive, we arrived at Drop Anchor Hotel (where we stayed the night) & launched our boat. While launching the boat, 2 massive Manatees came swimming past us. After we saw those guys, we made our way out to the ocean and saw even MORE wildlife! Don't forget to give us a thumbs up & a follow if you enjoyed this clip! - Ashley & Nate
