Snow falling and high wind was a perfect recipe for a school cancellation. So to make the best of the situation, my daughter and I set up a tent in the yard, and put some of my backpacking stuff to the test. We made it through the night just fine, but in the morning I noticed that the tent has some big problems. Wet gear is dangerous when the temps are low, and this tent has had large amounts of condensation inside it every time I’ve used it.
