Touring Kit Carson Historical Sites in Taos, New Mexico
In this video, we explore the Kit Carson House and Museum along with the Kit Carson Memorial Cemetery. Kit Carson played a key role in the US expansion of the American West. He made his home in Taos, NM. I highly recommend the book "Blood & Thunder' by Hampton Sides to give you a more thorough look into the life of Kit Carson. I am not a history buff, nor an avid reader, however I thoroughly enjoyed this book. A fascinating story. The Kit Carson park has a historical cemetery in the back where many notable historical figures are buried.
