From preppy college bars to dives with electric patrons from all walks of life, there’s truly something for everyone on the popular street off of downtown. With ample foot traffic and locals coming down for Second Saturday, it’s prime real estate for restaurants looking to draw in customers. And now, a popular food truck has shifted from the street and thrown open its brick and mortar doors in the space of a former restaurant on the popular avenue.
Popular Mexican Taco Restaurant Opening Two New Locations
If you are like many people, there are some days you just crave a quick, freshly made taco. Or maybe four or five freshly made tacos. Thankfully, metro Phoenix is the perfect place for that. It’s also about to get a little bit easier to satisfy your cravings for tacos here in the Valley, as one of the most popular destinations is expanding with several new locations.

Continuing to grow to be the largest annual tequila and taco festival in the country, they have some of the biggest names in tequila showcasing their signature products and the best food in East Tennessee, with hand-crafted tequilas, margaritas, cocktails and beer, great music, and of course, tacos!

While some were able to remain open and offer pick-up and delivery meal options, many were forced to close for the better part of a year. Others ran into other challenges due to food shortages, rising costs, and trouble filling staffing needs. However, little by little, many of these restaurants have opened back up. This includes a longtime Tempe favorite.

A skillet breakfast with leftover shrimp, chicken and al pastor from the tacos we had the other night. I diced two potatoes and added diced cheese, also leftover from our charcuterie dinner. Then, I topped the skillet with three sunny side eggs. Some sliced oranges, English muffins and strawberries. That was Sunday's late breakfast.

Tacos Reyes has perfected the art of making authentic delicious tacos. They started off as a popular food truck parked in front of their meat market where line usually goes very long until two in the morning. Then they opened up this restaurant and this is where we usually go if we are craving for tacos. For last night's dinner, we ordered cabeza and asada burrito plus ten tacos - al pastor, cabeza, camaron, pollo and asada. Fold, eat, yum!

We tried 🌮 Tacos4Life in Broken Arrow yesterday. Not only do they serve delicious tacos, quesadillas, burritos and more but they support a great cause. They partner with the charity “Feed My Starving Children” and for every meal bought they give a meal to those that are in need all around the world. Another great thing we loved about Tacos 4 Life is their amazing service! Carl took our order and was friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the mission behind Tacos4Life and the amazing food they offer. Tacos4Life started out in Arkansas but the Broken Arrow location is locally owned and operated. So if you want to eat some delicious food and help those in need go eat at Tacos4Life.

Delicious tacos from El Mexicano at Quivera Market in Pueblo Bonito - pastor, pibil and asada. Top with a spoonful of salsa, fold and eat... yum! Also on the video are the other delicacies we had from the same place - Mazatlan-style fish, Baja vulcan, tortilla soup, omelet with machaca, omelet with chorizo, chilaquiles and machaca burritos.
