Boyd Lake State Park Loveland, CO || Full Time RV Family
State Parks Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, CO is a State Park not far from where we launched over a year ago. It is $36 per night for electricity. Online there is a map of the campground so you can park next to the water spout and when we are ready to leave you can hit up the dump station. With several playgrounds, the kids don't get bored when we are here. Check out the swim beach, if you have a boat hit the water and have some fun. You are still in town so gas station, restaurants and groceries are near by. Lake Manatee State Park, Bradenton Florida
We spent a weekday afternoon at this small but beautiful state park, located in Bradenton, FL. Right off of State Road 64. Lake Manatee is named after the Manatee River that was dammed back in the mid 1960's to provide drinking water for Manatee and Sarasota counties. No there are no manatees in this lake... But you can find birds, fish, turtles, alligators, white tailed deer, and so much more all around this park! We hiked, geocached and played on the playground on this day. They do have picnic tables, volleyball court, canoe rentals, and they have a 60-site campground. What a great little State Park! Little Manatee River State Park, Wimauma Florida - Hiking, Geocaching
We spent a nice lazy Sunday afternoon hiking and geocaching through our local State Park. This is a small but beautiful state park where you can canoe or kayak down the Little Manatee River, picnic, hike, camp or horseback ride in. We have been here a lot and we still find something new to do every time we come. We have seen White Tailed Deer, Gopher Tortoise, Alligators, birds, armadillos and so much more! On this day we did some Geocaching which is a real life "treasure" hunt for all ages. There is not real "treasure" in the caches that you find, but the fun is in the hunt and sometimes there are great things in them!
