Boqueria SoHo, New York
Note: We were given a complimentary dining experience at this restaurant. If you love Spanish tapas and a lively ambiance there’s no better place than Boqueria Soho during your trip to NYC. We can’t resist a dinner at this lively and delicious eatery each time we are in the city and the chef’s tasting menu never disappoints. As soon as we entered the ambient and friendly restaurant we were seated in a cozy booth and introduced to the delicious and authentic Spanish menu. Dishes are served as they’re ready and ideal for sharing with your party. We highly recommend starting with the Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese and a portion of the light and addictive Pan con Tomate.

We try a handful of items from Dominican Cravings; the steak patacon, chicken yaroa, steak, rice and beans and a ham & cheese empanada! Don't forget to eat before watching, hope you enjoy! If you know of any other local places we should go to next, make sure to drop them in the comments below!

Pulpo a la Gallega, a taste of Basque cuisine
Pulpo a la Gallega, a favorite at this quaint restaurant right in front of a playhouse serving Basque cuisine. Every dish that landed on our table was delicious starting from pintxos to postrea. The first one that came out was Brasa Bread, then La Espanola, followed by Pulpo a la Gallega, then they all came out in a blur and gone in a second from Arroz Negro to Oysters, Crab Claws, Smelt Fish and Whole Fish Basquaise. The drinks were Papa Don't Preach and Funny Guy. Then came the dessert Torrija, Pot de Creme and Goxua.
Breakfast at Cafe Gasolina
Last weekend's breakfast at Cafe Gasolina, a Spanish-inspired restaurant. On the table: gasolina tonic to wake you up, cappuccino with latte art, turron French toast for Josh, tortilla Espanola for me and patatas bravas for the husband. The place is popular and wait time is usually long on weekends especially after 10am.
