Fried Chicken By Cajun Rnewbbq Today we're Frying up some Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast. Start off by putting some cajun seasoning on them in a bowl, 1 cup of buttermilk and hot sauce to taste. Put that in the fridge for at least 2 hours, overnight is best. Once its done marinating get a pot and get some oil up to 350 degrees. Next get some flour with several Tablespoons of cornstarch in it and some more cajun seasoning and start putting some chicken in it and breading some of the chicken a little at a time. After you bread some of the chicken slowly add it to the oil and let it fry for 6 - 8 minutes. Remove from the oil and let drain and then start working on the next batch. Do this till all done.

So, every now and again, you might want to splurge and have some southern fried buttermilk chicken, as I did today. I admit deep frying food is one thing that I normally don't do, but every year, around this time, I get a hankering for a piece of fried chicken. Perhaps it's because of the changing weather. Who knows?
