(Denver, Colo.) A record-high number of skiers visited the Rocky Mountain region last year, 25.2 million visits. Last year, ski areas nationally saw a 3.5% increase in visitation over the year prior. The 2021-22 season saw a total of 61 million skier visits.

The bros were smitten walking around downtown Boise, making snowballs from fresh snow that had fallen earlier in the day. They brought along one of their favorite winter toys, snowball makers, and spent hours engaging in snowfall fights. December was truly a magical time to visit both Boise and McCall, Idaho.

Mountains covered in snow never ceases to amaze me. I always think about how special and how inaccessible it is to get these kinds of shots. There’s no road or hike that could get us this far out, but a ski lift would do the trick!
