Hiking to the Slot Canyon at Valley of Fire State Park
The slot canyon is one of the highlights of Valley of Fire State Park! This gem can be found from the White Dome Trail which is at the very North end of the scenic drive though the park. Restrooms can also be found at this parking lot. The trail is a 1.1 mile loop and while is rated easy to moderate there is deep sand and a steep drop with sandy steps that you must traverse to make the whole loop.
