(But no really, what a magical time to visit Boise, Idaho)! We landed in the Boise airport watching snow flurries fall and we were immediately expectant of our upcoming snowy adventure. The bros were smitten walking around downtown Boise, making snowballs from fresh snow that had fallen earlier in the day. They brought along one of their favorite winter toys, snowball makers, and spent hours engaging in snowfall fights. December was truly a magical time to visit both Boise and McCall, Idaho.

This video is all about the week we spent in a million dollar home in Colorado for free! This is through Trusted Housesitters and yes, there is an annual membership fee starting at $129, but it's nothing in comparison to the value we've received through this platform. As full-time travelers, this gives us a way to stay in new places for basically free. We get to care for someone's home and their animals while they do some traveling of their own. There are plenty of random perks specific to each house sit and in this case, it was primarily the incredible location and the skiing! We had been itching to go skiing all season and were unsure if we'd have the opportunity. This gave us that chance and we got to ski at Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Arapahoe Basin. Although spring brings warmer temperatures, it doesn’t mitigate Colorado’s avalanche danger. So far this season, six people died in avalanches, and hazardous conditions persist in the backcountry.

If you're ever caught in an avalanche, that is how much time you have in order to survive. A skier over the past weekend knew this all too as he managed to survive one after falling off a 50-foot-cliff in Colorado.
