There comes a time when everyone reaches a point where they question the existence of Santa Claus. I want to share with you the definitive proof that I have that leaves no question that Santa is indeed real and that you can find him and share the truth with others.

Saint Nick Rides Again as VRE Santa Trains Return After Two-Year Hiatus
The jolly old elf traded in his reindeer for the rails Saturday as the VRE Santa Trains got back on track after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Five VRE stations - Manassas, Woodbridge, Fredericksburg, Burke Center and Spotsylvania - launched 13 trains on 75-minute trips between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

It’s December and that means you might be seeing a guy in a red suit around your town. People can’t wait to get a glimpse at Santa Claus! It seems he’s at every mall, church, and Christmas party this time of year. While he’s spreading joy at every event, he’s also making a good amount of money. Some people have made an entire career at becoming Santa.

UPDATED: New events added and an event cancellation due to the upcoming weather. Happy December! If you are looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend, there are plenty of family-friendly activities going on. I am also including Friday in the weekend roundup because there are many holiday activities going on Friday. There are many festive holiday events, and Santa will be busy making an appearance around Maine this weekend. If you need to get some holiday shopping done, there are also some holiday craft fairs you might be interested in. You can also help Maine veterans with a spaghetti dinner in Sanford on Sunday. As noted, some of the parades originally scheduled for Saturday have been moved to Sunday due to the weather and it is possible the ones listed may be rescheduled after this is published so you might want to double-check on the Saturday outdoor events before heading out. The grave of real-life Santa Claus was located under a 5th-century church in Turkey after his remains were claimed to be stolen around 700 years ago. Scientists have uncovered the grave of St. Nicholas, the personality who inspired Santa Claus, in Turkey. Turkish researchers knew that the real-life Santa Claus’s tomb was buried in the Antalya province of Turkey but couldn’t find his remains because there were claims that it was stolen.
Holiday events at the Orange Park Mall
Santa will arrive at the Orange Park Mall on Saturday, Nov. 19 to kick off the mall’s holiday season. “Families are invited to wear their best holiday pajamas and help Santa’s elves find Santa to wake him up for the holiday season,” Orange Park Mall Marketing Director Catharine Wells said.
