I write a lot about business leaders and entrepreneurs, but few are as inspiring as San Antonio resident Gordon Hartman. When he was fifteen, Hartman started his own landscaping business and saved enough money from this to begin a homebuilding business by the age of nineteen. By the time Hartman was 23, he had his own land development company.

According to Forbes's latest list of billionaires, San Antonio is home to three billionaires. There is, however, another billionaire living in San Antonio that Forbes excludes from its list- Charles Butt. The CEO and chairman of beloved supermarket chain H-E-B was excluded from the individual billionaire's list as his fortune is shared with his family. The Butt family is worth over $17 billion, but none are recognized individually.

Forbes has released the latest billionaires list, and it seems there is no change in San Antonio. According to Forbes, there are currently 2,668 billionaires in the world. Texas is home to 67 of these, and three people live in San Antonio who are billionaires.

It's official- the San Antonio rental market is becoming more and more expensive. That's according to a report that was released based on research conducted by the home search website, Apartment List.

A residence in east San Antonio's 300 block of Belmont has been broken into, its windows smashed, its walls slashed, and its concrete steps riddled with gunshot holes.
