Rundisney races are quite the spectacular event. Everyone should try one at least once, even if they are not a runner. But the starting line is an event all it's own.

runDisney registration crashed the Disney servers. runDisney Marathon Weekend is an event that has happened every year for nearly thirty years. It is the runDisney equivalent to WrestleMania or the Superbowl. While there are many runDisney races throughout the year, this is the one in which everyone hopes to attend and compete. If this event happens every year why is Disney not prepared? If you have visited Walt Disney World parks in the past, you are likely familiar with the amount of walking you may do in a single day trying to see and do everything on your itinerary or must do list. Now with the 50th anniversary taking place at Disney, there seems to be even more must see events and activities. Not to worry if you have not been able to visit since October 1st, 2021, the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration (go.com) will run for 18 months. There have been some really fun festivals, new rides and shows added to the Disney lineup. It can be a lot to take in, and in some cases, you may actually feel as if you are running from one activity to the next. While many guests do not appreciate having to run around Disney, there are others who look forward to running and also going to Disney. What a magical experience if you could do both at the same time.

The runDisney Springtime Surprise weekend had many ups and downs. During the previous runDisney merchandise expo, the mobile checkout wait was nearly 45 minutes long. Let's see if they got that fixed. And, let's take a look at the souvenirs that we picked up to commemorate our very first 10 mile race.
