(Denver, Colo.) A Colorado group wants you to picture Mount Evans as Mount Blue Sky. And to raise awareness for their cause, the Mestaa’ehehe Coalition is inviting everyone to submit pictures of Mount Evans, which they call Mount Blue Sky, from their unique vantage points.

The Hospitality House & Travel RV Park is a wonderful hotel tucked away high in the Rocky Mountains. This historic Cripple Creek, Colorado bed and breakfast was originally constructed in 1901 as the Teller County Hospital to provide state-of-the-art medical care for a booming population in the Cripple Creek mining district. It operated as a hospital from1901 through the late 1950’s. The hospital closed its doors permanently in 1960 after serving as a nursing home. Most speakers support Mount Evans name change at public hearing
(Clear Creek County, Colo.) Mount Blue Sky is the perfect name for the 14'er known as Mount Evans, several people told the Clear Creek County Commission on Monday. "Blue Sky is a geographic description," said a woman named Katie during a public hearing on the proposed renaming of the mountain. "It recognizes the significance of a blue Colorado sky. It's not an East Coast or West Coast washed-out blue."
