Venturing Into The Hall Of Horrors | Took Us Forever To Find | Joshua Tree National Park
Our last adventure at Joshua Tree NP was definitely one to remember! Have you heard of the Hall of Horrors? It’s a hidden slot canyon in a rocky area of Joshua Tree NP. We’re not sure where it got it’s name from but we assume it’s from the fact that the slot canyon is difficult to find, narrow, and has a large boulder at the top that looks ready to crash down at any moment! Half the fun in finding this place is, well, finding it! It’s completely unmarked! We try to give some clues as to where it’s at without completely giving it away. We want this great spot to remain a fun mystery to solve!
City of Rocks National Reserve | Almo, Idaho
Day 17 of our road trip we spend the day in City of Rocks National Monument in Almo, Idaho. This park has so many big rocks, it's easy to see how it got its name. Except for the few rocks that are preserved to protect the names of past emigrants on the California Trail, the rest of the rocks are free to climb. This is a great park for rock climbers of all ages :) Please Subscribe. Like. Share. Thank You :) Filmed September 27, 2021 by Curtis and Melissa We are an Adventure seeking family of 4 who love the FREEDOM of the open road, being outside, enjoying the beauty and nature God created! Hidden Place to Watch Rock Climbers in Boulder Canyon
One of our favorite places to watch rock climbers is in Boulder Canyon just outside of Boulder, Colorado. There is a hidden place tucked just off of Boulder Canyon Rd. that is a safe and beautiful place to sit back on Boulder Creek and watch the brave rock climbers. Maybe even do some fishing or picnicking. Go early to be assured parking. Coordinates: 39.979139, -105.455939
