Fun to be found off the beaten path.
Off the Beaten Path Header(designed by Matthew Woodruff) Another weekend of no plans in Gainesville? You and your family have already been everywhere and done everything, so you think? Tired of crowds and parking issues, and maybe other people’s kids (oops, did I say that, LOL.) To badly paraphrase Shakespeare: ‘there are more things hidden in Alachua County than your philosophy knows about.’

Easiest Coasters at Busch Gardens (VA)
Since being hospitalized with a severe case of vertigo several years ago, I've been on a self-imposed roller coaster ban. That ended with our Spring Break trip to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Determined to test my limits and return to the world of roller coaster riding, the OurTravelCafe.com family found the most friendly coasters in the park, checked out the rider comments and statistics, and chose our final four. We chronicle our path through the main attractions, and provide on-ride highlights. Disclosure: No adult humans became ill or debilitated as a result of our harrowing hijinks.
Visiting Busch Gardens (Virginia) With Kids
We visited Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA,, during Spring Break and found it perfect for youngsters. Known as one on the most beautiful theme parks in the world, Busch Gardens features a plethora of attractions perfect for the 3-8 year old crowd while the older siblings and family members enjoy more thrilling attractions. Plus, with lots of family-friendly shows, excellent food options and plenty of places to relax, it's easy to enjoy a full day onsite without having to leave the park for a rest. This was our first visit, but young and older alike agree -- we'll be back!

Visiting Silver Springs - Ocala, FL
1,000 miles into our road trip journey, we've made it to Ocala, FL! Having done very little (i.e. no) research, we happened upon Silver Springs State Park and couldn't believe our eyes! Watch to see what we thought about the 4 time gold wining Best State Park in FL, and all of the other things we did in Central Florida (spoiler alert: it involves a lot of chickens). Ocala offered us some of the most unique experiences of our trip - make sure you don't miss out on your trip to the Sunshine State! All music from Epidemic Sounds.
Top 10 Minnesota Road Trips to Take in 2022
Minnesota has a variety of charming small towns. From the South Minnesota farming communities to Northern Minnesota's pine lodge settlements, and everything in between. What I like most about Minnesota is that visiting each city and town is more than just going to a tiny community, on the off chance that you may see something.
