Flag Retreat at Disney World's Magic Kingdom
The flag retreat at Disney World's Magic Kingdom happens every day at 5:00pm in front of the train station immediately inside the entrance of the park at the flag pole housing the only genuine American flag in the park. They honor an active or retired service member by involving him in the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, they announce his/her name, which branch of the military, and any honors. Then they are handed the flag and march it down Main Street USA with the marching band leading the charge. If you are interested in seeing it in person, make sure to be at the front of the park at the flag pole at 5:00pm and you be in for a treat.
