The ‘Not So Great’ Experience at Lisbon Portuguese Cuisine
Spending time with family at a local family-owned restaurant is one of our favorite things to do. Especially when it involves learning about other cultures and savoring their cuisine. For Father’s Day, our children took us to Lisbon Portuguese Cuisine at 7600 Dr. Phillips Blvd. Suite 12, in Orlando, Florida. The restaurant has great reviews, so why not give it a shot?
Mercado Beira-Rio- Porto, Portugal- Dining Review- Trying Some More Authentic Portuguese Food
This is our last video from Portugal and we would be lying if we said we weren't a little sad that we didn't film more (or that we were still on vacation exploring)! We say it in the video, but this is what happens when we spend time at the wine caves in Porto prior to filming. We had a really great day exploring the city of Porto, Portugal and doing a wine cave tour. We found another food hall to try out. This one was a lot less busy than the Time Out Market in Lisbon so it was less intimidating to order from different stalls and enjoy the delicious foods. We actually ate at the market twice but only filmed one time... after touring a cave. We hope you enjoyed watching our adventures from this trip! More to come in the future! #mercadobeirario #portoportugal #diningreview Visit their website- https://mercadobeirario.pt/ Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/
Pedro Dos Leitoes- Mealhada, Portugal- Dining Review- Trying Portugal's Famous Roasted Pig
We are on the move again on our Portugal trip. This time, we make a stop in Mealhada where they are known for their leitoes (or roasted pig). There are a lot of different restaurants claiming to have the best leitoes in Mealhada, which is a small town outside of Coimbra. We landed at Pedro Dos Leitoes. This is an 80 year old establishment, so you know they must be doing something right. We got the roasted pig, salad and french fries (which are actually potato chips). Everything was delicious and if you travel north from Lisbon, you need to make a stop in this little town to grab a bite to eat! #mealhadaportugal #leitoes #portugaltravel Check out their menu- https://www.pedrodosleitoes.com/home/?lang=en Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/

We are still reliving our Portugal vacation, and a Portugal vacation is not complete without a Pasteis de Nata. These pastries are popular any time of day and can be enjoyed with a cup of coffee or a ginginja if you please! Brian did his own spin on things, and these brought us right back! It's a consolation for not actually being back in Portugal on vacation still! #pasteisdenanta #pasteldenata #pastryrecipe Ingredients used- salt, vanilla bean, heavy whipping cream, preserved lemon, eggs, sugar, puff pastry dough, butter, phyllo dough, cinnamon, powdered sugar Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/
Time Out Market- Lisbon, Portual- Dining Review- Popular and Busy Food Hall with Tons of Options!
This is our second dining review from Portugal, don't worry, more are on their way! We give you a little run down on our cold and rainy day as we really got out and explored the city of Lisbon. We even got to see the changing of the guards which was perfect timing on our part! Join along as we explore the Time Out Market in Lisbon. This busy market is located right by the water and was very popular and crowded on a Sunday night. There were so many different food stalls to choose from, it was almost overwhelming. Brian was able to get a meat board and fish soup and Stephanie was able to get a steak dish that has been made the same way for 40 years. Thanks to @Roadie with Rich for mentioning this spot! There are currently 7 different Time Out Market's throughout the world, but the Lisbon location is the original one! Portuguese Peri Peri Chicken- At Home Recipe- Easy and Spicy Weeknight Meal
Peri Peri chicken is a dish that originated in Africa and made its way to Portugal. In preparation for our upcoming trip, Brian made his version of Peri Peri chicken. This dish has a lot of flavor and spice. We really enjoyed the nice crisp chicken with the spicy peri peri. To cool it down, you use some of the mint yogurt sauce. Brian suggests that if you are sensitive to spice, use less of the arbol chiles. We used 5 in this recipe, but you can use as many or as few as you would like. He also recommends using the leftover peri peri sauce on top of the chicken and then using some of the yogurt sauce to cool it down. We even enjoyed our french fries with the sauces. #PeriPeriChicken #PortugueseRecipe #WeeknightMeal Ingredients used- chicken thighs, garlic, salt, black pepper, olive oil, green onions, mint, cilantro, lemon, arbol chiles, port wine, butter, thyme, greek yogurt, ricotta cheese Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/
