Mercado Beira-Rio- Porto, Portugal- Dining Review- Trying Some More Authentic Portuguese Food
This is our last video from Portugal and we would be lying if we said we weren't a little sad that we didn't film more (or that we were still on vacation exploring)! We say it in the video, but this is what happens when we spend time at the wine caves in Porto prior to filming. We had a really great day exploring the city of Porto, Portugal and doing a wine cave tour. We found another food hall to try out. This one was a lot less busy than the Time Out Market in Lisbon so it was less intimidating to order from different stalls and enjoy the delicious foods. We actually ate at the market twice but only filmed one time... after touring a cave. We hope you enjoyed watching our adventures from this trip! More to come in the future! #mercadobeirario #portoportugal #diningreview Visit their website- https://mercadobeirario.pt/ Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/
Pedro Dos Leitoes- Mealhada, Portugal- Dining Review- Trying Portugal's Famous Roasted Pig
We are on the move again on our Portugal trip. This time, we make a stop in Mealhada where they are known for their leitoes (or roasted pig). There are a lot of different restaurants claiming to have the best leitoes in Mealhada, which is a small town outside of Coimbra. We landed at Pedro Dos Leitoes. This is an 80 year old establishment, so you know they must be doing something right. We got the roasted pig, salad and french fries (which are actually potato chips). Everything was delicious and if you travel north from Lisbon, you need to make a stop in this little town to grab a bite to eat! #mealhadaportugal #leitoes #portugaltravel Check out their menu- https://www.pedrodosleitoes.com/home/?lang=en Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/
Ze Manel Dos Ossos- Coimbra, Portugal- Dining Review- A True Hole in the Wall Gem in Portugal
For this weeks review, we have moved a little further north in Portugal from Lisbon, to a cute city named Coimbra. This was one of our favorite cities. It was a lot less crowded than Lisbon and less hills! As we were driving to Coimbra from visiting Fatima, we were searching for a place to grab lunch, and this was the first top rated place we came across. This little restaurant is located in a small alleyway and had a line out the door waiting to get in. It is a very small restaurant, but packs a lot of authentic portuguese flavor. We really enjoyed the experience and recommend stopping in! The recommendations online say to arrive early to avoid a long line. There were two groups of people ahead of us when we arrived and we waited about 30 minutes for a table, which was not too bad! #coimbraportugal #travelvlog #diningreview Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/
Americans Try CNY in Portugal!
Hello guys, it's Expats Everywhere, and welcome to our channel. How do you meet people when you move to a new place? Sometimes our work environment gives us immediate friends but what about those who are self-employed or retired? What if you move to a new country and want to meet a mix of locals and foreigners? Josh and Kalie from ExpatsEverywhere have been able to mingle with locals and foreigners at an intimate supper club held in Porto, Portugal by a Singaporean. Come Eat Dinner (comeeatdinner on IG) is hosted by Wei Ling, a Singaporean married to a Portuguese. She brings people together through her passion for food. Josh and Kalie are particularly excited about the menu in this video because it is centered around Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year) and they both used to celebrate this holiday (with some good food and amazing friends) when they lived in Singapore.
