I destroyed these fish on this Stryker punch bait! I was not a believer in punch bait until this day. Arizona catfish must be a different breed! I am usually a fresh catfish bait type of guy, but people were swearing on this Stryker punch bait. I had to put it to the test and man did it perform! It even out fished my garlic liver! I know channel catfish typically prefer a smelly bait, but I have just never had any luck on punch bait for catfish until this fishing trip. Stryker bait was on non stop! Alpha blood scent was doing the best this day, but I did catch a few on anchovy scent as well. Arizona catfishing in the urban ponds always seems to produce something. These fish are juiced up and feeding heavily! The Arizona urban ponds have been getting stocked heavily, so find the closest pond to you and give it a shot!

Urban Arizona catfishing! These ponds were just stocked with channel catfish, so it was time I headed out to try my luck! Urban fishing is something I have always loved, so why not throw the underwater camera down there to see what was around. The underwater catfish footage turned out great! This pond was very clear, as most of arizonas fishing ponds are. We saw some awesome channel catfish, panfish, and even trout down there! Chicken liver attracts all kinds of species! My go catfish bait has always been garlic flavored chicken liver, and as you can see it did produce us a few channel catfish. However, the clear pond water was making the fish a bit weary, and they soon stopped biting the bait after catching some of them. The Arizona department of fish does a great job at stocking the community ponds with fish, so if you can, get out there and catch some!

Before Gar season in Texas, I like to catch carp for fun and for bait. Nothing beats a good fight from a common. Gars favorite bait is carp so like to load up before they start feeding. Thanks for watching!
