What are Cambodian 'Penis Plants' that are nearly extinct?
Native to the tropical parts of West Cambodia, these rare 'Penis Plants' are on the verge of extinction due to the increase in agricultural activities and tourism. This plant is known by that name for its uncanny resemblance to the phallic shape of the male genitalia when seen from a particular angle. It's scientifically named 'Nepenthes holdenii' because some photos of women posing and plucking the plant went viral on the internet.
Running buffalo clover, a plant considered extinct for nearly half a century, now flourishing in Ohio
Historical records show that running buffalo clover was once abundant from the Appalachians to the Central Plains, but it rapidly disappeared due to the disappearance of bison from the plant's habitat as it depended on bison to disperse its seeds. Habitat loss and competition from invasive plants such as bluegrass and white clover also contributed to its decline. By the early 1980s, the plant was thought to be nearly extinct and was listed as a federally endangered species.

Common problems in growing Philodendron Micans plant
The Philodendron Micans is one of the most stunning varieties of the philodendron plant and is famous for its heart-shaped velvety leaves and its habit of trailing. Available in abundance in countries like America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Micans is the most suitable plant if you do not have ample space available for greenery. The leaves never grow longer than 3 inches wide, which makes it a great tabletop plant as well.
