Making Beignets or French little donuts
Biting into these beignets or French little donuts coated with cinnamon sugar is pure joy. Earlier today I made some beignets using the mix from Cafe Du Monde that we usually get from World Market. They are very easy to make. Just 2 cups of the beignet mix and 7 ounces of water, mix throughly, then cut into squares, fry and then coat with cinnamon sugar. They taste absolutely delicious especially with a cup of coffee!

We had breakfast in the patio, the usual, shredded pancake with berries freshly-picked from the backyard garden. It's a slow lazy happy Sunday! Have a great week ahead everyone!
