Making progress on the laundry room and the downstairs guest bathroom. I decided to switch out the colors we got for these rooms and I was so glad that I did because the mint bubblegum wall paint in the laundry room I love! I am going to theme this room to Little Mermaid and the bathroom I am theming to Polynesian / Lilo & Stitch. I have a wall in the kitchen that faces the coffee / bar area that I have struggles with since we moved in. What can I do with this wall? Give me some ideas!

In today's video the bathroom floors get finished as well as the laundry room floors too. Dave finished the wood feature wall in the laundry room and I got to painting it. The cabinets turned out so good. I love it when my visions come together! See ya in the next one!!

It's full steam ahead for our projects! We had to lay down the Schluter Ditra membrane before we could install the tile. We show you that project and we had a little microphone mishap. Mishap being me commiting a vlogging mistake haha! Come along for all the craziness! We will see ya in the next one!

We started on the downstairs guest bathroom demo! This one went a lot quicker than the upstairs bathrooms did. I guess we had some practice with those and we kind of know how to go about it. We also have all the tools needed for removing all the parts and pieces out of a bathroom. So grab a drink and come along with this as we "get it done!" See ya in the next one guys!!

I got a few things from Amazon for the house that I wanted to share. We needed new toilet roll holders since we took down the old ceramic ones and I found a solution on Amazon. I also bought peel and stick wallpaper for the Cinderella bathroom. I put the hubby to work with small projects that have been sitting around for a whole year! Let me show you the man cave reveal & Dun Dun Dun!! Our IKEA kitchen was delivered and it came in 200 boxes! It's hard to believe that a whole kitchen is in all these boxes minus the microwave, stove, and fridge BUT it is! We have lots to do in the coming weeks....start and finish the downstairs guest bath & laundry room, demo the kitchen, and I am sure more things that I can't think of at the moment. Hi Guys! I found a margarita recipe on Pinterest and decided to share that with you guys. Margaritas are my absolute favorite cocktail! I also figured out how to use all the attachments on the electric sander, wasn't easy, let me tell ya! Finally finished the hand rail for the stairs and other projects get underway.

Just giving you guys some updates on what's been happening and what we are working on now. We added one more new addition to the lanai. I give you guys an update on what's going on with the shower surround and I finished painting Dave's closet.

In today's video we move on to changing out the fixtures in the showers from chrome silver to oil rubbed bronze. We also set the vanity tops. In the pool bath we had to take off the whole sink from the wall to get to all the plumbing because of the tight spot it made. The toilets get installed and the board & batten gets completed. It's come a long way but we still have a long way to go for the home stretch of completion.

In today's video I started paint on my closet. We decided on the darker color that we used for the accent wall in the master bedroom. We will be changing out the lights for more brightness in both the closets. We also unboxed the vanities for both bathrooms. One we got at Lowes Home Improvement and the other we got at Home Depot. Dave installed the board & batten in both bathrooms as well. We get a lot done in this video.

The next step in our home remodel is grouting the tile we put down. Wow what an adventure that was to do! Mistakes were made but in the end it all turned out ok. The difference from the old and the new tile WOW!

In today's video I put down the waterproofing / crack prevention membrane down in the bathrooms we are renovating. You also get to see the bedroom feature wall reveal we have been working on. I scrubbed the lanai / patio and show you that too. If you live in Florida, you know that those can get really nasty really fast and we neglected ours for quite a while. It felt so good to get that all sparkling clean. Now it's ready for summer weather and pool lounging. We hope you enjoy the video.

In today's video we got started on the feature wall in the bedroom. Dave did such a good job with this! I could not even begin to do all this math to figure out all the measurements! After he installed all the boards, I got busy prepping it for paint. I also started cleaning the back patio / lanai area.

In today's video a lot happened! I cleaned our front porch area and put together our new patio set. Dave put down the cement board in the bathrooms upstairs. I also painted our master bedroom so it's now ready for the feature wall and I started scrubbing our neglected lanai / pool area. We hope you enjoy the video.
