Sitting atop the Eastern Conference, four and a half games above the Philadelphia 76ers, the Boston Celtics will be looking to extend their win streak to 10 games on Monday, January 23, 2023, against the 17-29 Orlando Magic.

We are just over a quarter of the way through the NBA season, which is crazy, considering it feels like Golden State just won the championship and the Jayson Tatum slander was at an all-time high. Not only is NBA moving through its season, but college hoops are too. Many players, like Keyonte George, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandon Miller, have used early-season tournaments to improve their stock for 2023 NBA Mock Drafts.

In honor of their 30th year as owners of the Orlando Magic franchise, the DeVos family will present a total of $3 million to be distributed among thirty different local organizations.

The Orlando Magic ended up with the #1 pick in the NBA Draft after finishing 22-60 last season. The main reason why the Magic were so tragic last season was due to their roster construction. Orlando has too many power forwards and point guards on their roster. Hopefully, this trend changes so that the Magic can actually make it to the NBA Playoffs before this decade ends.

With the upcoming 2022 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic hold the number pick. There are conversations surrounding who should go number one: Jabari Smith, Chet Holmgren or even Paolo Banchero. The consensus is that Jabari Smith Jr. from Auburn will be selected number one. Since the regular season ended in April, the Magic have been tasked with evaluating and finding their next cornerstone.
