The hike to 3 Sisters Falls is rated "hard" on the app AllTrails, and it is becoming increasingly popular due to it's close proximity to San Diego. However, is this hike ACTUALLY a difficult hike? As a somewhat experienced hiker, I would definitely say this hike falls more into the moderate category. It is relatively short, and the hike isn't terribly steep. The way there is almost all downhill though, so be ready for a more difficult hike back to the car!

After all is said and done, Starved Rock State Park is definitely worth visiting. It is located only 1.5-2 hours from Chicago and it has great nature by Illinois' standards. Although it can definitely can get crowded, the crowds are there for a reason - the natural attractions are definitely worth seeing! This video is my 21st installment of the Field Museum in Chicago. Here I wrap up my time at this great museum by discussing what I didn't like. For me personally, I was a bit overwhelmed and felt a bit of information overload after spending 3 or 4 hours here. It's great to know that you can read about almost every piece at the museum, but I got fatigued very quickly after checking out countless things on display. A huge disclaimer is that although I occasionally enjoy museums, I am by no means a museum fanatic so I have limited energy and interest.
