This bakery rings truth to the fact that it is okay to have an indulgent breakfast from time to time and have it worth it. If you are familiar with the Great American Restaurants such as Coastal Flats, Mikes American Grill, and Sweetwater Tavern, then you must know that this is also affiliated with that name. You will find some similar treats from the restaurants in this bakery as well as other freshly baked staples. Tip: Get there early because they sell out fast.

Cava Table is the only Cava Table location apart of the Cava Mezze culinary brand that was birthed between long-time friends Ike Grigoropolous, Ted Xenohristos, and Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. This all-day café is serving curated Mediterranean bowls, salads, pita sandwiches, soups, small bites, tahini shakes, and coffee. I never heard of a Tahini shake until I came here, and my taste buds were pleasantly surprised as it was thick, creamy, and delicious, as you would expect a yummy dairy milkshake to be! An interesting fact is that it also serves as a test location for new menu items being added.

Bun Papa's name insists they are the papa of buns! Nestled in Alexandria, VA, they are working hard to create hot dogs, burgers, and chicken sandwiches that stand out from other local competitors. The pop-up restaurant is located inside Bread and Water Company and very easy to miss, but don't be mistaken, since they are inside a bakery, you can know for a fact they are making their owns bun for their hot dogs and sandwiches alike. When you walk in you will see a wall full of awards and magazine articles highlighting their menu items. Helpful tips to know are that they begin serving menu items at 3:00pm and there is no inside seating; only a few tables and a small bar top outside. This is a good place to grab and go, or eat outside when the weather is perfect.
