Easter is a Christian holiday which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It falls on the first Sunday after the full moon following the March equinox, making it a moveable feast that can occur between mid-March and mid-April. The date of Easter is determined by using a complex set of calculations based on lunar and solar cycles, known as the Computus, which changes from year to year according to these cycles.
