The 2023 Atlantic hurricane season in Florida begins in two weeks. The annual hurricane season is June 1 through November 30. May 15th is the day that the National Hurricane Center (NHC) begins issuing regular Tropical Weather Outlooks (wikipedia).

We joke here in Florida that there are only ten native Floridians left in the state. For some reason, many of them up and leave when they graduate. Why? Who knows? I personally love living in the land of summer and sunshine.

We got started on the laundry room! It's right across the hall from the downstairs guest bathroom so the plan is to do both rooms at the same time basically. You know us! We plan to go back and forth between each room until they are done. We took down the wire shelving, broke up the tile floor, patched all the holes, and got everything ready for the next step which is the Ditra uncoupling membrane that will go under the new tile. Man this house remodeling is no joke! See ya in the next one guys!!

After several weeks of sheetrock repair I was finally able to apply the texture on the walls in the two bathrooms upstairs and the pool bath that we had the big hole to repair in. So that means I was finally able to paint the two baths upstairs. Now we can move on to tearing up the tile, removing the toilets, and all the things to prepare for new things.
