PALM BEACH, FL. - In a recent interview with televangelist David Brody, former President Donald Trump discussed the importance of loyalty among evangelical leaders in politics and the damage done to Republicans who advocated for No Exceptions to abortion restrictions.

Governor Baker has said that Trump's influence hurt their party in this year's midterm elections because voters showed that they "aren't interested in extremism."

In yet another blow to the idea that the 2020 election was somehow stolen, and after more than 60 other court cases have been heard and decided, the Supreme Court of the United States has again weighed in by refusing to hear a case alleging that Dominion’s voting systems are “intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.”

I remember a time when sportsmanship still mattered. When an individual got beat in any form of contest, he congratulated a superior opponent. Being gracious in defeat shows character. Unfortunately, integrity is in short supply these days.

Today is election day. It’s scary to think how many Americans will go out and vote based on what they’ve heard in political ads. In modern society, too many Americans get their information from digital devices rather than reliable sources.

Another election has come and gone, and here I am guessing that we’re all going to be stuck dealing with more of the same. The voting public handed our politicians just enough power so that they can block each other from doing anything. Maybe that’s for the best, or maybe it’s not, who knows?

Nationally, young voters supported Democrats over Republicans by 28 points. It was these same groups who also helped Biden decisively defeat former President Donald Trump in 2020.

In fact, there was such an overwhelming response against restrictive laws in several Midwestern battlegrounds - including Michigan where they permanently codified protections on abortion clinic grounds through legislation passed earlier this year--that it became clear even more than before just how much society feels about preserving reproductive choice.
