Locating a 1930s era Speakeasy hidden in the woods.
We received information about a 1930's era speakeasy in the backwoods of North Alabama. After receiving permission from the landowner we were able to locate the location and using metal detectors we found these items that had been lost for years.
Civil War bullet found fired
Did we just find a body-struck bullet from the American Civil War? It is a fired Enfield bullet that was imported by the Confederate Army during the Civil War between 1861-1865. At the battle site that we were at we were on the known union lines and the bullet found was a fired Enfield that we believe to be fired by confederate soldiers. Could this bullet have simply hit the ground or passed through some unfortunate soldier? You decide and let us know what you think in the comments below.
