E.U. Passes New Policy attempting to Reduce Waste

Currently, there are three different kinds of chargers—USB Type-C, the micro-USB used by many non-Apple products, and Apple’s "Lightning" charger. All digital phones sold in the E.U. will have to use USB-C chargers.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) Hello Portlanders! It's Thursday, Jan. 20 - Here's your daily round up of all the news happening in the City of Roses. The Oregon Health Authority is proposing a permanent mask mandate for indoor public spaces and will hear from the public on Thursday at 10 a.m. If implemented, health officials would be able to cancel the mandate when no longer necessary, but there would be no set expiration date. The temporary masking rules currently in place in Oregon end Feb. 8.

School in Chicago is temporarily cancelled
Earlier this week, the city of Chicago started a mandate that a person would have to show verifiable proof of the current medical status before entering a restaurant, a gym, a bar, a movie theater, or any other public indoor space. Using common sense, one would know that the city would not be prepared for the ramifications that the mandate would cause.
