(Denver, Colo.) If you ride rented scooters on Denver's sidewalks or illegally park them, prepare to get a ticket. City Councilmember Chris Hinds has complained that scooter riders don't follow city rules for several months. Now, the city is looking into how to enforce laws already on the books.

Gas prices have been at record highs over the past couple of months and rideshare drivers are having a hard time keeping up. At its highest point this Spring, a gallon of gas was as much as $6.09 per gallon in Western states like California. However, prices remained above the $4 dollar mark for much of the United States as well, prompting local congressmen to introduce the idea of a gas stimulus rebate in order to curb the staggering costs of filling up the gas tank.

The "Let's Ride to Work" program, in partnership with ride-share provider Lyft, offers up to 40 rides during the first four weeks of employment per each eligible resident.

Chicago rideshare drivers demand better wages promoting the Living Wage and Safety Oridence introduced by Alderman Roderick Sawyer. ABC 7 News reports that drivers held a rally outside the Chicago Uber hub in the Noble Square neighborhood Wednesday, voicing concerns and frustrations about low pay. The group said they are struggling to make ends meet, as the majority drive for the companies full-time.
