There's a "new kid" in town in Little Tokyo, a juicery specializing in sugarcane with some yummy tropical flavors like passion fruit, dragon fruit and durian. Durian is an acquired taste and stinky. The place is spacious and clean with some cool Japanese designs on the wall. Their other specialty is build your own acai bowl which I might try next time with my favorite flavor... ube.

We were in the area earlier today, so we stopped by at Japanese Village in Little Tokyo for some nigiri sushi at Oomasa. To start off, we had tuna toro and yellowtail belly, then blue fin tuna, red snapper, scallops. uni, halibut fin, masago or salmon roe, ebi and tamago.

There are all sorts of things to do, see, and eat in Little Tokyo. The streets are lined with unique shops and restaurants. It is also home to museums, monuments, and cultural festivals. You should definitely add Little Tokyo to your itinerary when you visit Los Angeles!
