MANHATTAN - A man was shot while sitting in his car outside Little Italy. The victim managed to drive himself to an area hospital, cops said. At around 12:30 am on June 2, a man was sitting in his parked car in front of 51 Chrystie Street when a man approached the car. The man began arguing with the driver from the street.
Arrest Made in Fatal Scooter Drive By Shooting in Bronx
BRONX - Police have made an arrest in the scooter drive by shooting in Little Italy that left one man dead back in February. Police announced the arrest of 26-year-old Yorvin Gomez. He was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal posession of a weapon: loaded firearm. Cops arrested Gomez in the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Miguel Vargas across the street from the famous Artuso Bakery in the Bronx’ Little Italy.
