Colorful Autumn Leaves May Be Enjoyed In The Neighborhoods
Autumn Leaves on a tree(Image is author's) Although the Winter weather has arrived in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah, there are still plenty of Autumn leaves to enjoy. The colors of yellow, orange, red, and brown are evident on the trees. Many leaves have fallen with the wind and weather, and people are having to rake up huge bags of the leaves for discarding or pick up. It makes work for people, but most willingly do it.

Beautiful fall colors at the Seattle Japanese Garden
The Seattle Japanese Garden is in the Arboretum in Madison Park. We took an afternoon there are saw so much nature: koi swimming around, a turtle. It's a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city, just the right size to walk. You can see camellias in bloom, and almost every 10 steps gives you a new postcard photo opportunity, like waterfalls.

A new study published in the American Journal of Botany, shows that redwood trees develop two different types of leaves - One type converts carbon dioxide into sugar through photosynthesis as normal trees do. The other leaves specialize in absorbing water, to slake a tree’s thirst.
